The first LEGO Star Wars set was released in 1999, which was the first LEGO X-Wing. It was the first intellectual property to be licensed to LEGO and became extremely popular. Many other Star Wars building sets have been released in the last 15 years, based on the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy and The Clone Wars. The sets were so popular they even spawned a series of video games. Here is a collection of some of our favorite Star Wars LEGO sets.

1Imperial Star Destroyer
